What I'm working on at the moment
2024 Sound Designs include: 'Saint Maud' for Live directed by Jack McNamara, ‘The Bounds’ for Live and The Royal Court directed by Jack McNamara, ‘Festen’ for RCSSD directed by Ian Wooldridge, ‘Love It If We Beat Them’ remounted by Emmerson & Ward directed by Bex Bowsher, and ‘Colliery Boys’ R&D for Laurels directed by Andy Room.

Plus associate sound design work 'Underdog: The Other Other Bronte' transfer to Northern Stage from the National Theatre and 'You Heard Me' directed by Maria Crocker.

I am also continuing to develop my own sound installations and digital sound art practice.
Biog
I am a Sound Designer and Sound Artist working across theatre, abstract music and contemporary art - equally at home as part of a collaborative team on large scale productions or independently on solo commissions and always driven by a love of storytelling and immersive experiences.

My practice is broadly focused on source materials and the creative manipulation of their sonic qualities to create a richly textured soundscape. Mainly working with original field recordings but also adapting to whatever material feels most appropriate to the project.

As a Sound Artist I seek to compose soundscapes that encourage increased engagement with our acoustic environment.

As a Sound Designer, I adopt a holistic approach that includes content creation, show control programming, and playback system design.

All of my work is informed by my skills in field recording and studio recording and sound system design and optimisation.

Alongside my practice as an artist and designer, I work as a freelance sound recordist and sound mixer for video, music and live events.
