Most theatre sound professionals are still working in stereo. Not because they don’t know better, but because stereo is the reality of most deployments. Beyond Stereo starts there and demonstrates what’s possible beyond it.

Led by spatial audio practitioner Phil Wright, the session draws on real-world experience of object-based mixing in professional theatre, from the constraints of stereo-only deployments to the full potential of an immersive system. No demo rigs. No simulated scenarios. Just a working production, a real system, and a workflow that changes what stereo is capable of.

The session is structured as a progressive journey, moving from the familiar to the transformative, using the same PA and signal chain throughout.
